Atlanta Community Food Bank

 

Southface conducted a charrette focused on sustainable design with Atlanta Community Food Bank and its new building design team to help set environmental goals and to discuss the most effective strategies with which to achieve those goals. Southface also served as the Food Bank’s LEED Administrator, facilitating the LEED certification process. As part of this process, Southface worked to create an energy model for the Food Bank’s planned building to effectively demonstrate the energy savings it could expect.

Southface served as LEED Administrator for the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District’s commercial office space renovation, and facilitated the LEED certification process. Southface also consulted with the project’s design and engineering staff throughout the construction process.

Southface conducted a charrette focused on sustainable design principles with Georgia Tech and its design team in order to set environmental goals and evaluate the optimum strategies to achieve those goals. Southface also served as Georgia Tech’s LEED Administrator on the project, and facilitated the LEED certification process.

Energy Efficiency in Georgia K-12 Schools

 

Southface, in partnership with the state energy offices of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina, initiated a campaign to improve energy efficiency in commercial buildings by 10 percent. The program for Georgia specifically targeted the K-12 school sector in the state, providing public and private schools with resources to improve their facilities’ energy performance.

Forsyth County YMCA

 

Southface conducted a charrette focused on sustainable design with the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta and its' building design team. This charrette helped set environmental goals for YMCA and discussed the most effective strategies with which to achieve those goals. Southface also served as the YMCA’s LEED Administrator, facilitating the LEED certification process. As part of this process, Southface worked to create an energy model for the YMCA to demonstrate the energy savings it could expect.
