The Southeast Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Training (SWET) Center opens.
Since 2010, Southface has provided approximately 750 trainings, reaching more than 8,000 attendees.
Now a state-of-the-art training facility, the SWEET Center was previously a diaper laundry and auto-body shop.
The SWEET Center teaches and trains thousands of emerging and established building professionals each year.
The SWEET Center’s sustainability-related course offerings support the development of a competitive green jobs sector, while attracting a range of consumer and professional skill levels.
