Healthy Design Collaborative
Liz serves as the Principal for Healthy Design Collaborative and previously served as CDC’s first Chief Sustainability Officer. She brings innovation to facility policy and operations while implementing healthy, resilient, equitable work environments. Liz was instrumental in the development of FITWEL and authored the AIA Best Practice on Lactation Rooms. She has strengthened policy and understanding around the health impacts of the physical environment, gender issues in design, access to healthy food and design effects on health equity. Liz is a registered architect with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture, from Georgia Tech.
