Clean and Equitable Energy For All

Southface is a longtime supporter of clean energy policies, from community-based efforts to municipal adoption of clean energy solutions and state-level initiatives.

2021-2022 Energy Advocacy Training

Southface, Vote Solar and Partnership for Southern Equity invite you to a six-part training and roundtable discussion series designed to give you the information and tools you need for meaningful engagement in the 2022 Georgia Power Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The IRP outlines how Georgia Power, the state’s largest utility, will direct ratepayer-funded energy efficiency, generation, transmission, and distribution investments over the next 20 years. These investment decisions will have a broad impact in Georgia, but the public can help direct the utility’s decisions towards catalyzing a regenerative economy through participation in the 2022 IRP process and this multipart training and collaboration roundtable.

Interested parties can register for all or any individual sessions. We welcome everyone to participate!

Legislative and Regulatory Advocacy

In collaboration with our partners, Southface works to engage and educate local and state policy and decision makers about advancing the clean energy and regenerative economy in the Southeast.
