Southface offers courses
and training events in a variety of contexts. The formats
are varied
and
range
from
multi-day workshops on building science; one-day seminars
on energy code; to certified Home Energy Rating Systems courses.
We hold many educational events at the Southface Energy and
Environmental Resource Center and we can bring the training
event to your location.

House - setting the standard for healthy,
environmental home building and design. A partnership
with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

Code - Residential Energy Code Workshops covering
Energy and the Code as it relates to mold prevention,
crawl spaces, walls/windows/doors, ceilings/knee walls/attics,
RESCheck Software, HVAC/ducts/ventilation and new products. |

Homebuilding
School - an invigorating, hands-on class,
offered in weekend and nine-day formats, providing
the knowledge to make building-related decisions with
confidence. |

is the first step toward becoming a Certified Home Energy

workshops provide contractors with the prerequisite knowledge
to participate in the Home Performace with Energy Star

LEED Training events -Southface's Commercial Green Building Services promotes
the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED® ) program of the US Green Building Council. LEED addresses site, energy, water, materials, and indoor environmental quality. |
