Shane Totten joins Southface leadership team

Shane Totten is the new director of Commercial Green Building Services at Southface.

As director of Commercial Green Building Services, Totten and his team help local and regional businesses achieve their sustainability goals. The team's services include LEED administration and consulting, the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge, EarthCraft Light Commercial, EarthCraft Sustainable Preservation and training events on commercial topics. Most recently, Shane served as associate chair of the School of Building Arts at SCAD Atlanta.

"The strength of Southface is the technical knowledge, real world business experience and entrepreneurial spirit of our staff. Shane exemplifies these qualities and has been a respected leader in academia and business," said Dennis Creech, Southface co-founder and executive director.

"As one who is personally and professionally committed to creating a more sustainable future, I'm really excited to join the Southface team. Having volunteered with Southface in a variety of roles, I'm grateful to now be able to work more closely with Dennis and the commercial green building services team to support our clients and constituents by adding value to their efforts through our expertise and collaboration," Totten said.
