Southface Partners with AHA for Civic Center Redevelopment

Southface, whose campus lies within with Civic Center site, will partner with the Atlanta Housing Authority, Invest Atlanta & Weingarten to redesign its future.

Southface is and will continue to be an asset to not only Atlanta, but across the Southeast and U.S. as a leader in promoting sustainable homes, workplaces and communities.  The Civic Center site has been our home since 1995 and thus, we have been asked to be an integral part of the vision for its future as a best in class example of sustainable development promoting equity with affordable housing and transit accessibility, in addition to the highest standards of resource efficiency and green infrastructure. We cannot be more excited to move forward as a core partner alongside the Atlanta Housing Authority, Invest Atlanta and Weingarten as we get more deeply involved planning the Civic Center redevelopment.
