Atlanta, GA – July 14, 2020 – Southface Institute’s Greenprints Conference, the Southeast’s most respected and thought-provoking forum on sustainability, has gone digital, with a one-day format, focused on building a regenerative economy across the Southeast, and an afternoon dedicated to Drawdown Georgia. The event will happen August 6.

Atlanta, GA – March 10, 2020 – Southface Institute is rescheduling its Greenprints Conference, the Southeast’s most respected and thought-provoking forum on sustainability to June 3 – 4 at Georgia State University. Architects, engineers, building professionals and members of the policy and education fields can register now to earn CEUs, learn about the latest developments in urban sustainability and join panel discussions on how regenerative policies and practices can be implemented across every scale of development to improve a healthier built environment for all.

In a quickly urbanizing world, our cities are increasingly the center of all things—economic development, housing and jobs. Within these cities, our existing buildings are aging fast, and sustainable and high-performance practices for new construction are struggling to proliferate fast enough to keep pace with the degrading building inventory that is producing more than 40% of all carbon emissions, causing direct health problems for many, while contributing to a warming planet for all.

Southface’s annual Greenprints Conference is March 12-14, 2018. This annual event connects sustainability leaders with social and business innovators to continue strengthening the pursuit of a resilient and sustainable future.

Through extensive stakeholder collaboration and community input, the city of Knoxville’s Smarter Cities Partnership designed KEEM: The Knoxville Extreme Energy Makeover Program. KEEM lessens the burden on low-income communities by reducing overall energy use.
