We’re excited to welcome Aliyah Jackson to Southface this summer as our Sustain Our Future Foundation (SOFF) Summer Fellow supporting the BIT for Resilient HBCUs program.
This also marks the third consecutive year that Southface has had the opportunity to host a fellow from Clark Atlanta University through the SOFF Summer Fellowship program, continuing a valuable partnership focused on supporting emerging leaders and workforce development.
Aliyah is a dual-degree student at Clark Atlanta University and Georgia Tech studying Aerospace Engineering with concentrations in Physics and AI/ML. She brings experience spanning STEM education, sustainability initiatives, community engagement, and entrepreneurship.
Over the next 10 weeks, Aliyah will be supporting the continued growth of BIT for Resilient HBCUs as we build on the strong momentum from the program’s first year and continue advancing student-led sustainability efforts across participating campuses.
We’re excited to have Aliyah join the team and look forward to the contributions and perspectives.
