Why did you become a Southface member?

Southface’s and Integral Consulting Engineering/Integral Group’s focus on advancing sustainability in the built environment are well aligned.

What is Integral Group’s mission?

Our mission is accelerate the shift towards environmentally responsive design by making sustainable designs affordable.

What makes Integral Group different in terms of creating a more sustainable future?

My goal in launching the Atlanta office of Integral Group in 2015 was to leverage to unique skill sets and passions of the firm to bring a new brand of consulting engineering – focused on IDEAS, IMPLEMENTATION and IMPACT – to my hometown.

Integral Group has designed more Net Zero Energy and Living Building Challenge projects and delivered more LEED Platinum certified buildings than any consulting engineering firm in the world. Locally, we helped design the highest scoring LEED project in the world at the time of certification (1315 Peachtree Street) and designed the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for three high-rises in Midtown that are tracking to become the first, second and third LEED Platinum certified speculative office buildings in the Southeast.

What does Integral Group hope to achieve this year in partnership with Southface and/or our community?

I hope that we can work together to strengthen policy relative to building-scale water harvesting, treatment and reuse.
