Over the first few months of 2017, Southface’s new President, Andrea Pinabell, has been touring Southface’s sustainability networks to get to know the partners, thought leaders and funders we work with every day to deliver our mission and pursue our vision. For many years, Georgia Conservancy, the 50 year-old conservation nonprofit dedicated to protecting and conserving Georgia’s natural resources through advocacy, engagement and collaboration, has been one of those partners and a key player in Georgia’s sustainability advocacy group.

Andrea will deliver the opening Keynote at the Generation Green’s Next South conference a week from Friday. Generation Green is the junior board of the Georgia Conservancy and exists to lead innovative programming that connects new and diverse audiences to the Georgia Conservancy’s mission and fosters the growth of young environmental leaders across Georgia. Drawing on her experience working in corporate sustainability and building a career in environmental work at the nexus of business and corporate culture, Andrea will kick off the Next South Conference with an inspiring address.
