Culture Resilience Environment Workforce

Atlanta CREW (Culture-Resilience-Environment-Workforce) is a free green infrastructure (GI) and stormwater management workforce development program that trains participants how to install and maintain GI that has been designed with a cultural and artistic vision. Planned outcomes include:

  • Training up to 60 people in the Lee Street Corridor and the Utoy Watershed
  • 10 people on average in each of six training cohorts, with all trainees completing the installation and operations and maintenance courses and a hands-on installation or maintenance project
  • Training cohorts that include job fairs/interviews with employers
  • Participants will support the installation of six GI projects
  • Participants will receive a stipend of $35 per day for up to five days of participation
