Rent Sustainable Event Space

In response to coronavirus concerns, Southface is suspending facilities rentals until further notice.

The Southface Event Rentals program makes our attractive and sustainably built facilities available to organizations wishing to host their meetings, networking events and receptions in a unique, high-performance setting. When you host an event at Southface Institute, the proceeds from your rental support Southface’s mission-based programs.

Rentals are priced at full day (4-8 hours), half day (1-3 hours) or evenings and weekends. Rental fees include access to the selected space one hour prior to and one hour after the meeting on the day of your meeting or event. Southface is a community-focused organization and welcomes nonprofits into our space at a discounted rate. Please refer to the room descriptions for the cost structure.

Home Depot Foundation Training Center

THE HOME DEPOT FOUNDATION TRAINING CENTER

The Home Depot Foundation Training Center is our largest event space and is fully equipped with the latest audiovisual and energy-efficient technology. The benefits of natural light are maximized with large south-facing windows that work in conjunction with interior light shelves and motorized shading to regulate sunlight as needed. The training center also has a dedicated lobby that can be used for registration, as well as counter space for food and drink service, restrooms, recycling and composting stations and elevator access.

Maximum Seating Capacity:

  • 32 with 'U' layout
  • 56 with pods
  • 60 with classroom seating
  • 100 with auditorium seating
  • 150 standing when lobby is included

Amenities Include:

  • LCD projector and screen
  • Built-in sound capabilities with microphones
  • Two wall-to-wall dry-erase boards
  • Countertop space for food and drink service

SWEET Center Classroom

SWEET CENTER CLASSROOM & WAREHOUSE

Located just a couple blocks from the Eco Office, the SWEET Center Classroom is a great place for a meeting or training. A lobby and registration area are included with the classroom, as well as counter space for a food and drink service.

  • 20 with classroom seating
  • 50 standing

  • Dry-erase boards
  • Countertop space for food and drink service
  • On-site parking
  • Video screen with HDMI capabilities

Resource Center Classroom

RESOURCE CENTER CLASSROOM

The Resource Center classroom is an inviting space with large windows that allow ample natural light and a separate exit that opens onto the Southface gardens.

Kendeda Board Room

KENDEDA BOARDROOM

The executive boardroom was designed with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of natural light and views of Renaissance Park. It is conveniently located across from the reception area and is next to the elevators.

Resource Center Library

RESOURCE CENTER LIBRARY

This quiet room is located right off of the reception area and is a great space for small meetings and is usually rented as a break-out space in addition to a larger space. It has a screen accessible by VGA hook-up to a laptop.

Epic Metals Conference Room

EPIC METALS CONFERENCE ROOM

The Epic Metals conference room feature high ceilings and large windows that work with T5 dimmable lighting, which adjusts brightness based on available daylight. This space is only available to rent if you are also renting out a larger space.

THE TURNER FOUNDATION GREEN ROOF

Get the best view of both Midtown and downtown Atlanta, nestled next to Renaissance Park! Our green roof combines sustainable construction with a beautiful outdoor setting for a one-of-a-kind meeting experience, perfect for a luncheon or cocktail party. The roof space features walkway squares made of recycled rubber, patio decking crafted from post-industrial recycled wood, native plantings and a solar canopy repurposed from a local gas station—all surrounded by an unforgettable panorama. The Green Roof is only available to rent by the hour (minimum 2 hours).
