This three-day online course is designed to introduce the skills necessary to become a Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifier, certified to perform the diagnostic testing required for new homes by Georgia 2020 Energy Code. All three days of training take place via a live-virtual platform. Students will need to have access to their own computer with video and audio capability and internet. The training times for all three days is 9:00 am to 1:00 pm ET. After registering for the class, students will be provided with a link to join the training.
An orientation call is scheduled prior to the start of training to review the course schedule, make sure all students have access to the video link, and answer questions about exams.
A field evaluation is scheduled separately from the training days and is required for attendees seeking certification. This evaluation may be scheduled in-person or remotely based on each participant’s schedule and needs.

Day 2: Tuesday, March 10th from 9am to 1pm ET
Day 3: Wednesday, March 11th from 9am to 1pm EST
Field Testing: Scheduled at the end of training
