This course consists of a video training, a slide deck and an exam.
Objectives
After successful completion of this course and exam, participants will be able to:
- Identify relevant principles of building science as they relate to rooflines and attics
- Apply knowledge of the building thermal envelope to home design
- Interpret the energy code’s treatment of insulated rooflines
- Identify recommended materials and methods for insulating and air-sealing attic rooflines
Earn
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of completion for CEUs from ICC, AIA, BPI, and RESNET and will attain the certificate Southface Certificate of Completion B.
