One of the most valuable aspects of Southface is the abundant resources and services we provide to the community.
General Interest
Publications. All of our publications are available free of charge on this website. From fact sheets to green building guidelines.
Questions and links. The FAQ section provides answers to some of the most commonly asked questions we get. For more "hand-on" research the public is invited to visit our resource center library. The weblinks section is a handy resource for finding additional information on related topics.
Radon. The radon section houses a handy FAQ on radon gas. In addition, there are useful links for finding radon information.

Commercial Building Resources and Services

Commercial Green Building Services provides technical assistance on environmentally-sustainable building and community design, LEED administration, building science, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
	Green Schools Toolkit A website resource is designed to provide K-12 schools with resources specifically geared for school designers and builders, energy and facility managers, superintendents and boards of education, as well as teachers, students and parents.
	Green Building Toolkits Green Building Toolkit for Nonprofit Organizations, Green Building Charrettes and more. Plus Solar energy case studies and Solar tax incentives
	Grants to Green program helps small, medium and large non-profit organizations in the greater Atlanta region to “green” their facilities and adopt best management practices in sustainability.

Residential Building Resources and Services

Residential Green Building Services provides home assessments, plan evaluations and diagnostic services.
	EarthCraft is a joint Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association-Southface green-building program designed to address the climate, energy, and water issues unique to the Southeast. It works with single family homes, renovations, multifamily, and community projects to achieve the goal of substantially reducing utility bills, promoting healthy living, and protecting the environment.
	Home Performance with Energy Star, sponsored by Southface, offers a comprehensive approach to home improvement, remodeling, and renovation that will make your home more efficient and reduce energy costs, while improving indoor air quality and creating a more comfortable, healthier home.
	LEED for Homes is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings run by the USGBC as a part of their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™.
	Southface Energy Rated Homes is a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) provider that certifies HERS raters and their ratings according to the national standards set by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET).
	Solar and ultra efficiency. The Solar Road Map section provides a bounty of material on solar technologies. The Zero Energy Homes project describes case studies of ultra-efficiency homes.
	The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The NAHB National Green Building Program Certification is based on the ICC 700-2008 National Green Building Standard™
