Testing Your Home for Radon
Testing your home for radon is easy and inexpensive. Obtain a test kit from one of the following places:
University of Georgia – Extension Housing and Environment Programs. http://www.gafamilies.com/housing Click on “Radon”
Call your local County Extension Service (look in the blue pages of your phonebook) and ask for the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent. You can obtain a free test kit and instructions on how to complete the test.
In Atlanta: Free Radon test kits can be obtained from Southface by visiting the Southface Energy and Environmental Resource Center at 241 Pine St. NE, Atlanta, GA.
