Greenprints 2006, March 23 – 24 in Atlanta
Since 1998, the Greenprints Conference and Tradeshow has provided a forum for changing the way practitioners think about architecture, planning and the use of natural resources. In partnership with the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA), and with the support of numerous other government and industry sponsors, Greenprints has hosted thousands of participants interested in Sustainable Communities by Design.
In 2005 Greenprints partnered with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) to host the NAHB Green Building Conference in Atlanta in February. Summer and fall 2005 saw Greenprints go on-the-road to offer several one-day workshops across Georgia. Finally, in November, Greenprints partnered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to host its annual Greenbuild event at the Georgia World Congress Center.
In 2006 Greenprints will return to its original format and convene at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The venue lies in the heart of Atlanta’s Technology Square, an award-winning development and home of several projects certified under the USGBC’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. Technology Square integrates the Georgia Institute of Technology campus with midtown Atlanta’s thriving corporate, retail and residential community.
