Southface promotes the transformation
of the marketplace for sustainable practices. Our ongoing
programs and related events have expanded
to include:
EarthCraft
House - A partnership with the Greater Atlanta Home
Builders Association, EarthCraft House is setting the
standard for healthy, environmental home building and
design.
Commercial Green Building Services provides technical assistance on environmentally-sustainable building and community design, LEED administration, building science, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Grants to Green is a program of Southface Energy Institute, The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta and Enterprise Community Partners, undertaken with private funding from the Kendeda Fund. Its purpose is to help non-profit organizations in the 23-county Atlanta region to assess their facilities, identify energy-, water- and resource-efficiency upgrades and adopt best management practices in sustainability. The program funds Assessments by Southface and Implementation Grants by The Community Foundation for actual green upgrades.
USGBC - Atlanta Chapter - Our goal is to facilitate greenbuilding for users, agencies and companies;
and to foster cooperation and collaboration among organizations dedicated to
environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Sustainable Communities by Design - our nationally acclaimed,
affordable green building conference and tradeshow attracting
design and construction professionals.

Events - Ongoing social and educational events to
celebrate our members and thank them for their support.
Sustainable
Atlanta Roundtable - a monthly forum attracting hundreds
of Metro Atlanta professionals, policy makers,
media and concerned citizens to discuss sustainable
development issues for our region.
Visionary
Dinner - Southface's annual fundraising
gala, bringing the business and environmental
communities together to "savor the sustainable
table" while envisioning an economically
and environmentally responsible future.
