WHAT:
Greenprints is seeking presentations that
will strengthen the conference's take-home value and
provide attendees with real examples and tools of
how to design and operate sustainable buildings and
communities.
We
are seeking presentations on topics related to the
following:
•
residential, commercial and mixed use development
trends
•
innovative financing for green buildings and developments
•
effective design and construction strategies to ensure
successful green outcomes
•
Integrated Design Approach and building a green team
•
market forces driving the green building sector, including
federal, state and local incentives and mandates
•
human scale design, creating walkable communities
and architecture
•
ecological construction and deconstruction principles
•
tools that will help attendees anticipate growing
customer demands for environmentally responsible building
while expanding their business, operating, and market
capacity for green projects
In
addition, we are soliciting case studies from throughout
the Southeast for a dedicated session examining high
performance buildings in the region. Case
study presentations must be approximately 30 minutes
in length.
