Lord Aeck Sargent Wins Six Preservation Awards

Congratulations to Eco Office architects Lord Aeck Sargent for winning six preservation awards from the Georgia Trust. The Trust works “for the preservation and revitalization of Georgia’s diverse historic resources and advocates for their appreciation, protection and use.” Annually, The Trust recognizes significant contributions to the preservation of Georgia’s historic resources with Preservation Awards. Projects must be listed, or eligible for listing, on the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to five awards for preserving buildings, Lord Aeck Sargent principal Tony Aeck FAIA received the Mary Gregory Jewett Award for distinguished service in the field of preservation. This award is named for the Trust’s first executive director and is the Trust’s top honor given to an individual. It is reserved to recognize those whose dedication and service to the field of historic preservation in the state of Georgia is extraordinary.
