•	more than 50 percent of the office’s hot water needs are met with the solar system

Building 850, US Navy – Port Hueneme, CA
•	renovations to this 17,000 square foot office building began in 1996
•	currently, the building utilizes a 30kW PV system on its rooftop in addition to numerous solar thermal collectors
•	solar water heating offsets the need for conventional water heating, helping the building to realize a 55 percent reduction in energy use
