Southface has partnered with the Technical College System of Georgia to provide faculty training for national certifi cations in preparation for colleges to off er those certifi cations to students starting in 2012. Be the first to attend and get certi fied as a Building Performance Institute Building Analyst!
Southface and the Technical College System of Georgia will be working with faculty to provide train-the-trainer classes and curriculum development support in 2012 o ffering national certifi cation opportunities to students. Students graduating with a national certi fication have greater potential for recognition in today’s competitive job market. Whether they continue to reside in Georgia or move elsewhere in the country, your students will be better equipped to off er quality services to their employers and clients.
To identify interested faculty, Southface is o ffering scholarships for technical college faculty members to attend trainings at the Southeast Weatherization and Energy E fficiency Training Center in Atlanta, GA. After successfully completing the Building Analyst course and exams, faculty may request to attend additional Southface trainings on a case-by-case basis.
