The Visionary Dinner is a gala benefit and celebration that attracts business, government and community leaders in support of Southface's work.

Each year, more than 500 friends and associates gather at the Visionary Dinner to network, learn and celebrate achievements in corporate sustainability while savoring an exquisite five-course, wine-paired feast of local delicacies.

The Keynote Speaker

Visionary Dinner keynotes have included thought leaders from the highest levels of business and government. Their words are always inspiring, always memorable! The 2011 keynote was the Honourable John Gummer, Lord Deben, a member of British House of Lords and chairman of the environmental consultancy company Sancroft International. Past keynotes have included:

 The Argon Award

Each year, Southface makes a special presentation of its Argon Award, named for the nontoxic, nonreactive, clear and odorless gas that fills the space between the glass panes of high-performance windows. Past award winners have included UPS; The Coca-Cola Company; manufacturer of water-efficient fixtures TOTO USA; R.E. “Ted” Turner of the Turner Foundation; Arthur Blank of The Home Depot; Ray Anderson of Interface, Inc.; and Whole Foods Market, among others.

The Venue

The 2011 Visionary Dinner was held at the spectacular new Grand Atrium at 200 Peachtree.
